SM002 - Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Overview
Wireless Dynamics seeks an energetic sales professional to fill the role of
Vice President, Sales and Marketing to assist our growth. This person will
reside in the company’s headquarter in Calgary, AB, Canada to manage all
sales and marketing functions and channel distributions.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales, distribution channels, value added resellers and key accounts to achieve the sales revenue goals.
- Generate leads and prospective through direct and indirect sales, marketing research, trade shows, etc.
- Determine product and channel strategy to accelerate the growth of the company.
- Provide forecast, quota and sales targets, and to manage the resources to meet the objectives.
- Determine initial customer requirements and expectations to enable recommendations of appropriate products, services, and business solutions.
- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products and services offered in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate the ability to gather, process and share detailed business information for prospects’ business problems.
- Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other departments and management teams as well as those of strategic partners.
- Travel to other countries, as required from time to time, to meet prospective customers and partners, and to conduct necessary sales and marketing activities.
- 8+ years sales experience
- Experience in managing distribution channels, resellers and key accounts.
- Experience in marketing high tech products and solutions
- Strong analytical ability to recognize possible solutions to fit clients’ needs
- Strong telephone, oral and written communications skills are expected
- Fluency with Microsoft Office
- Experience in radio frequency identification sales or technical role is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage
- Plan includes base salary plus variable commission
