SM003 - Sales Manager

Overview

Wireless Dynamics seeks a sales professional to assist our growth. This person preferably resides near the company's headquarter in Calgary, AB, Canada to manage the sales and channel distributions of NFC and RFID products.

Wireless Dynamics Inc. is a leading provider of NFC and RFID SD products. The company's iCarte™ and SDiD™ solutions enable mobile payment, NFC and RFID read/write functions for mobile devices such as iPhone, smartphones and PDAs. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Wireless Dynamics also provides mobile application designs, wireless ODM designs, products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Pursue sales and orders from perspective customers. This will include channel, distribution and account management, pre-sales and post-sales activities to generate sales
  • Assist in lead generation campaigns, prospect qualification, trade shows, direct and indirect marketing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities to maximize territory potential.
  • Determine initial customer requirements and expectations to enable recommendations of appropriate products, services, and business solutions.
  • Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products and services offered in order to improve related sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate the ability to gather, process and share detailed business information for prospects' business problems.
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of sales and management teams as well as those of strategic partners.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years sales experience
  • Strong analytical ability to recognize possible solutions to fit clients' needs
  • Ability to quickly learn and re-communicate solution related concepts
  • Strong telephone, oral and written communications skills are expected
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in asset management, high technology or communications sales is a plus
  • Experience in radio frequency identification sales or technical role is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage

Compensation

  • Plan includes base salary plus variable commission
