Wireless Dynamics Inc. is the first in the industry to announce the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Reader/Writer SD (Secure Digital) Card. Our expertise in wireless and portable technologies, has led to the creation of the SDiD™ Card – a RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Reader/Writer SD (Secure Digital) Card that turns Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and Smartphones into portable RFID terminals.

Our innovative and versatile SDiD™ Card integrates RFID functionality into the existing computing power and connectivity of PDAs and Smartphones. RFID tag information can be communicated in real-time to the enterprise database through WiFi, CDMA, GSM or Bluetooth connection(s) associated with PDAs and Smartphones. The SDiD™ Card allows for safe and secure product and client information storage, updates and processing.

The market potential for RFID is very encouraging; RFID tags are poised to become the most far-reaching wireless technology since the cell phone (Source: In-Stat) with worldwide revenues from RFID tags jumping from $300M in 2004 to $2.8 billion in 2009 (Source: In-Stat). Our strong RF and Antenna design experience as well as our proven compact and portable products development and marketing experience, give us a competitive advantage in the RFID market.

Our SDiD™ Card applications include reading and writing RFID tags for the health-care, pharmaceutical, retail logistics, and homeland security industries. The SDiD™ Card offers a safe, secure and seamless management solution for real-time inventory, asset and document tracking.

The SDiD™ Card also supports Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, allowing consumers to use their PDAs and Smartphones to access product and entertainment information, compare prices and make transactions such as contactless payments, coupon and point redemptions. NFC is a combination of contactless identification and interconnection technologies developed by Phillips and Sony. NFC enables short-range radio frequency (RF) communication between personal electronic devices. Users can access product information or entertainment content such as pictures, music and video clips by waving their mobile devices in front of a smart poster or kiosk. Users can also exchange such information with other users through NFC or mobile connection of their devices.

Wireless Dynamics currently offers four SDiD™ Card; the SDiD™ 1010, the SDiD™ 1020, the SDiD™ 1210 and the SDiD™ 1212.
